ImaS is committed to a set of Ethical Guidelines which the company approach to both clients and candidates. Our Ethical Guidelines apply to :
I. General Application
- All communications with candidates, clients, and other offices shall be honest and truthful.
- All laws and regulations relating to equal employment opportunity shall be obeyed.
- The candidate’s employment background and qualifications shall be accurately presented.
- No promises shall be made to candidates or clients that cannot or are not intended to be kept
- Other offices and their employees shall not be defamed or disparaged in communications
with anyone.
II. Candidate Relations
- A candidate who is also considering an opportunity with another company shall not be given false or misleading
information about the
other company to dissuade the candidate from accepting the position with the other
company or to motivate the candidate to accept the
position with
our client.
It is also improper to give the other
company false or misleading information about the candidate for the same purpose.
- Reference checks shall not be conducted without the candidate’s permission.
- Candidate information shall be used only in connection with our activities relating to the possible placement of the candidate.
Confidential information will be treated appropriately.
- Presentations made to candidates about positions shall be made from the best knowledge
in our office.
- Candidates shall not be involved in fee disputes other than asking them to provide information, including testimony,
when necessary.
- A candidate shall be counselled to not tender his or her resignation from the candidate’s current position until the
candidate has accepted a firm, unconditional offer from a prospective employer
- Your credentials shall not be misrepresented.
- Resumes or CV's shall not be sent without the candidate’s permission, unless the candidate can not be identified in the information given.
- No fee shall be shared with a candidate .
III. Client Relations
- The office shall inform its client companies of its service charges before accepting an assignment.
- The office shall not recruit a candidate from a client company where the office placed the candidate, either directly or indirectly through
another office as stipulated in our terms of business. If such a candidate initiates a request to be
placed elsewhere, we may discuss
the
reasons for the request in an attempt to resolve any problem between the
candidate
and the client. If the problem cannot be resolved,
the will only be provided placement assistance after the candidate has provided us with a signed acknowledgment that the candidate
initiated the contact and requested the
office’s services.
- Unsolicited resumes or CV's shall not be sent to prospective clients or other offices without the candidates’ consent.
An unsolicited
resume or CV may be sent to an actual client only when the prior course of dealing with that client establishes that the receipt of such
a resume will be welcomed.
- Confidential information will be treated appropriately.
- All relevant and reliable reference information, favorable and unfavorable, shall be shared with the client. Information protected from
disclosure by law is not relevant.
