Leading manufacturer of small engines
power equipment. It designs manufactures, markets and services
engines for original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) worldwide as
well as several power equipped products.
Location:
In region of Zurich, Switzerland
Position Summary
Long-term success will be achieved by building multi-level industry
contacts, a clear understanding of the customer, knowledge of market
issues, and then ‘driving through’ clear channel development plans,
which will be linked to regional strategies.
Key elements of a successful plan will be: strong personal
relationships (dealers, distributors, importers and OEMs). To
maximize sales and profitability, customer focus, effective
communication at all levels, superb service and a partnership
approach is essential. Additional focus will be on building close
relationships with the rapidly developing Mass Retail channel as
well as support in brand development activities. Key to success will
be an understanding of channel issues and dynamics including OEM
activities.

pricing information, margin and costing information to determine
proper strategies and plans

and backgrounds. Establishing good relationships is a key to success

Training Skills – Will be responsible to train and educate the
After Sales & Service partners

Communication Skills – Communicates company strategies, targets and
values efficiently to different levels of audience

Execution Excellence and Priority Setting – Able to prioritize,
work independently and to handle multiple projects at the same time

Negotiations – Able to bring strong negotiation skills to high
level e.g. pricing and range discussions

Language Skills – Fluency in English is essential. At least one
primary language used in the areas of responsibility is beneficial.
